CPC Christmas Bazaar & Habitat Christmas Tree Auction
Saturday, December 3, from 10 a.m. – 2 pm
Corydon Presbyterian will be filled with the glow, sounds and aromas of Christmas!
This year’s bazaar will feature the usual goodies plus a live auction of decorated Christmas trees to benefit Habitat for Humanity in Harrison County. The proceeds of the rest of the bazaar and luncheon will be split between Habitat and Harrison County Community Services.
Here’s the fun-filled schedule:
BAZAAR: 10 AM – 2 PM
SOUP & SANDWICH LUNCH: 11 AM – 1 PM
CHRISTMAS TREE AUCTION: 1 PM
The Bazaar will feature homemade baked goods (pies, cookies, breads), candies, crafts, pickles, jellies, decorations and lots of gifts for every age human…and critters!
In addition, various local craftspeople will have booths.
The favorite Soup and Sandwich Lunch includes annual crowd-pleasers of Francie’s homemade broccoli-cheese soup and her potato soup, plus Dale’s chili. New this year are bean soup and Mexican corn chowder.
Back by popular demand are homemade sandwich fillings of Stout pimento cheese, Charlie’s tuna salad and Suellen’s ham salad. Homemade desserts cap off this free-will offering luncheon.
At 1 p.m., the Live Auction will begin of Beautifully Decorated Christmas Trees, donated by local florists, businesses and very talented individuals.
This will be the third year for this popular auction, but the first time for it to be held at CPC.
CPC’s Bazaar/Luncheon and Habitat’s Christmas Tree Auction are open to everyone who wants to spend time enjoying the Christmas spirit while helping Habitat and Harrison County Community Services.
