STEWARDSHIP

It is our joy and privilege as Christians to receive God’s abundant blessings and return them to God’s work.

The Stewardship committee leads CPC in that effort by creating an annual budget, development of fiscal policy, overseeing the finances of the church, and conducting routine financial matters (through the treasurer and financial secretary, both of whom are members of the committee).

Sources of income for the church arise from a variety of sources, which include tithes and donations, gifts, memorials, bequests, and trusts. The committee is especially involved in the promotion of bequests.

Current members of the committee are Nathan Blank, Joyce Bliss (moderator), Tom Butt Charles Eckart, Gerry Eckart (assistant treasurer), Rev. Scott Hill, Jeff Krohn (financial secretary), Gordon Stout (liaison to Session), Kathryn Stout (treasurer), and Randy West.
