Our annual event to benefit Harrison County Community Services provides authentic Cajun cooking and lively music and decorations from New Orleans' Mardi Gras. Have a carnival celebration with us before Lent. Eat-in or take-out - chicken or sausage jambalaya, red beans & rice, make-your-own salad, French bread, drinks and homemade desserts - King cake, bread pudding and more - all for a freewill donation to help our less fortunate neighbors.
In 2016 we had great fun (as always!) and raised more than $3,000 for Harrison County Community Services, and because it was double-matched by Harrison County Community Foundation - our donation to the Harrison County Community Services fund through the Cajun Dinner became $10,000! Our dinner is almost always the Saturday before Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday.
