Youth Ministry
Want to be a PUNC? Well, we aren’t
just any PUNCs, we’re Presbyterians Unedited Never Ceasing
to Serve! Our youth group is composed of current sixth through
twelfth graders. We have great fellowship together, whether we’re
doing a service project, such as making pottery soup bowls (from
clay!) to benefit the hungry; going places – we love to
go out to eat for special occasions; hosting a Mad Hatter Tea
Party; having an educational speaker to talk about relevant issues
for teens; or just hanging out together. Our senior high youth
take a yearly mission trip, spending a week of the summer doing
good things for other people. This summer we traveled to Benton
Harbor, Michigan, working with Habitat for Humanity rehabbing
homes for those in need.
Most weeks we meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the
church. Call the church to check timing. A monthly schedule of
activities is sent out and if you’d like one, just contact
the church at (812)-738-3929 and we’ll be happy to include
you on our mailing list. Our Director of Youth Ministry is Debbie
Adams and she would love to meet anyone interested in being part
of a really good thing!
